 PULSARS "THE TUNNEL"

Pittsburgh has a real cool tunnel
pittsburgh has a tunnel through a mountain
tunnels are what we like
tunnels can be dark or bright

and now we're going through that tunnel
talk radio is fizzing out

so you say you wanna build your own tunnel
well don't forget a compass and a shovel
'cause if you dig too deep
you might miss by ten feet

new york has a real cool tunnel
the holland tunnel is just like a funnel
tunnels are what we like
all the tunnels are out of sight

and now we're going through that tunnel
talk radio is fizzing out

so you say so you say you wanna build a
so you say so you say you wanna build a

and now we're going through that tunnel
talk radio is fizzing out

The reason I choose this song is this song explains shapes of tunnels. It says "Pittsburgh has a real cool tunnel" it explains Pittsburg's tunnel. The song tells to us information of tunnels like dark or sometimes bright. It tells to us New York's and Holland's tunnels. It is very good for us to learn tunnels information. In our book we will learn them so it is preliminary for us so we can understand the book well. I think if you read this book you must learn something about tunnels really it will be very helpful for you.

TUNNELS

First, Will's father goes missing. Second, Will discovers a tunnel that leads to an underground city. Third, Will's life changes forever. Kidzworld reviews Tunnels by Roderick Gordan and Brian Williams.

Will’s family is completely dysfunctional. His mother spends every waking moment glued to the TV set, and his younger sister Rebecca has taken it upon herself to perform all the motherly duties. Will only shares a common interest with his father; they love to dig and explore the treasures hidden underground.

Will’s father discovers a secret hole that emits peculiar smells and leads deep into the earth. Then he begins seeing mysterious, odd-looking people roaming the streets. He doesn’t realize until it’s too late that they’re after him.

Will’s father is missing and it’s up to Will to get him back. He and his new friend, Chester, explore a mysterious tunnel that they discover while digging. When they follow it, they find an underground world complete with massive tunnels, a train  and an entire city carved out of the earth itself. But it’s a dangerous place for intruders, and Will and Chester quickly find themselves held captive by the unforgiving Styx.

During his time held hostage underground, Will learns that there’s a reason he and his family have nothing in common. Will is forced to face a shocking truth. And he must make a life-changing decision, one that will either lead him to his demise, or force him to bear a lifelong burden.
